Update: That’s great! We now have video evidence of how much the loading time of the naughty dog has improved in The Last of You Remastered in PS4. As shown below, it only takes 14 seconds to load a new game, compared to 1 minute 30 seconds before. This is an absolutely insane difference. It takes about 14 seconds to install and save a new patch compared to 2 minutes ago.
The actual loading time may seem wild, the naughty dog is always hidden when loading the game, depending on the initial length of the load screen when you boot the game. Obviously, magicians in the studio no longer need it. It’s worth adding that the PS5 will probably reduce these load times by a few seconds or a few seconds. Crazy thing!
Original story: Sony continues patches for its biggest PlayStation 4 game, The Last of You Remastered (and its standalone The Last of Us: Behind the Left Expansion) latest recipient with many assuming that these amazing updates for legacy games are preparing them for the PlayStation 5, However, there has been some noticeable improvement in the manufacturer’s current Zen console.
According to speed runner Anthony Calabres, the game’s loading time has dropped dramatically. Here is what he wanted to say Twitter:
It’s unclear what the naughty dog has optimized here, but you can become virtually non-existent on the PS5 with this kind of improvement. This is great news for those of you who want to play the title again or plan to test it for the first time as part of the PS Plus collection.
