Radeon RX 6700 XT, MSI announced their MECH 2X 12G OC and GAMING X 12G versions

MSI, the leading OEM for gamers, is proud to unveil its new graphics card based on the AMD RadeonTM RX 6700 XT GPU, offering the latest graphics technology, high performance and advanced cooling.

The AMD RDNATM2 architecture at the center of the Radeon RX 6700 XT is designed to provide the right balance between performance and power efficiency. It benefits from a revolutionary design cut to performance in favor of energy efficiency to offer higher speeds at lower levels of consumption. A new hierarchy of cache memory helps reduce data exchanges in favor of both latency and consumption.

  • AMD Infinity Cash – 1440p with high-performance last-level cache perfect for 4K gaming and the highest level of active expansion. The 96 MB cache integrated into the GPU dies to provide 2.5X more bandwidth at equal consumption than the traditional architecture 1 and thus provides better performance in the game;
  • AMD Smart Access Memory 2 – AMD delivers a higher level of performance when creating an AMD Radon RX 6000 graphics card with the Ryzen 5000 processor and selects the Raijon 3000 on the AMD 500 Series motherboard. Thus the AMD Ryzen processor has high speeds in GDDR6 video memory, which may provide a significant performance advantage;
  • DirectX Raytracing (DXR) – By adding a high-performance fixed unit to each computation unit, including the beam tracing acceleration engine, the AMD RDNA 2 graphics card is optimized to deliver real-time rendering of reflection with light, shadow and DXR for best realism . . With AMD FidelityFX 3, developers can combine graphing and ray-tracing effects to provide the right balance between image quality and in-game performance;

MSI embeds this new RX 6700 XT card under the GAMING X series, the iconic TWIN FROZ 8 cooling system. Since the last generation, the two-fan design has been improved with the TORX FAN 4.0, which offers two-in-two blades for focus. Air flow occurs on the TWR FZZR 8 system. The heat sink takes advantage of advanced aerodynamic and thermodynamic techniques aiming to maintain high performance in order to use better heat dissipation. Finally, the new design of these GAMING X Series emphasizes the RGB Mystic Light by adding some elegant touches, all of which are controllable and customizable to the MSI Dragon Center utility.

The MX series returns to the MSI line-up with the RX 6700 XT. This new version now includes TORX 3.0 fans. The MECH design, with its emphasis on performance, provides any task necessary to be completed without deceleration, whether for gaming or commercial use. Its powerful cooling system, reinforced with a striped metal backplate, contributes to an industrial aesthetic and makes the MAC Series an ideal choice for any PC.
