He added: “If you compare yourself to anyone, it’s not too bad to compare her to Merkel because she’s so beautiful.”

Fiona proceeded with a joy: ‘I was told before I looked like her, I was very flattering she was absolutely beautiful. So not sure if we can look like each other, but I’m very flattering so thank you. ‘
