Asaad was taken from his home in Cairo, and his organization, matsada2sh, alleges that security forces assaulted his wife and threatened their child during the arrest. Zambian authorities arrested 13 individuals in connection with the plane, including six Egyptians, four Zambians, and individuals from Latvia, the Netherlands, and Spain.
