Zambias Seizure of a Mystery Plane: Unraveling the Story behind Cash, Guns, and Metals

Title: Mysterious Plane Intercepted in Zambia Raises Suspicion: Key Points to Consider

A mysterious plane intercepted in Zambia has sparked intrigue and raised questions due to its suspicious flight paths, network of passengers, and the discovery of questionable contents on board. Investigative journalist Karim Asaad of matsada2sh recently uncovered a complex web of passengers on this aircraft, highlighting some key points that demand attention.

Asaad, an Egyptian journalist, revealed that the plane made stops in Dubai, Tel Aviv, Cairo, Benghazi, and Tripoli, followed by multiple round trips to and from Cairo. The flight paths raised suspicions about the plane’s purpose and the individuals it carried.

However, the plot thickens with the arrest of Asaad by Egyptian authorities. Asaad was taken from his home in Cairo, and his organization, matsada2sh, alleges that security forces assaulted his wife and threatened their child during the arrest. This raises concerns about the information released and its potential implications.

Further investigation into the plane’s origins and operations reveals intriguing details. Although the aircraft appears to be registered in San Marino, it is operated by an office in Dubai linked to an aircraft rental service in Antwerp, Belgium. The owner of the plane requested that FlightAware, the world’s largest flight tracking platform, not disclose any flight information or track its movements.

Authorities have made significant progress in connecting individuals to the plane and its suspicious activities. Zambian authorities arrested 13 individuals in connection with the plane, including six Egyptians, four Zambians, and individuals from Latvia, the Netherlands, and Spain. Matsada2sh suggests that these individuals are part of a clandestine network involved in questionable business activities across Europe and the Middle East.

The presence of notable individuals on board the plane adds another layer of intrigue. “The man of gold” and “Mr Money,” Shadrick Kasanda, a Zambian national, often flaunted pictures and videos with large quantities of gold. Additionally, an Egyptian army major who briefly worked at the Egyptian embassy in the US and a police lieutenant in the Egyptian Ministry of Interior were also on board. Michael Adel Botros, a director of defense technology company Amstone International Limited, was another passenger with a questionable background.

The discovery of suspicious contents on the plane adds to the mystery. Zambia’s Drug Enforcement Commission seized over $5.5 million, firearms, and ammunition, along with initially believed to be over 600 pieces of gold. Subsequent investigations determined that these pieces were made of copper and zinc alloy.

As authorities continue to investigate the connections between the individuals on board and the purpose of the seized items, the true nature of this mystery remains unclear. The intercepted plane in Zambia has shrouded the region in speculation, leaving many eager for answers as to its purpose and the individuals involved.
