Pep Guardiola Man City press conference is the latest in the recap preliminary team news vs Fulham and Sergio Aguero

Waiting for Fulham

After sealing the top spot in the Champions League group, a strong team could take to the field to try to get three points against City Fulham, then take a tired leg break in mid-week against Marseille.

Imerick Lapart, John Stones, Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker, Kevin de Bruyne, Ilke Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez all came out of the Porto draw and they could all start fine against Fulham. Gabriel Jesus also played in Portugal for only 20 minutes.

The first priority is to beat Fulham, and the second priority is to reach the best possible position in next week’s Manchester Derby.

The only outstanding fitness issue is that Sergio Aguero and Guardiola can offer an update on his recovery later.
