Russian Authorities Introduce Notification Procedure for British Diplomats in Response to “Hostile Actions” by UK
In the latest tit-for-tat move between Russia and the United Kingdom, Russian authorities have announced a new “notification procedure” that will require British diplomats in Russia to inform them in advance about their movements around the country. These requirements will undoubtedly increase the bureaucratic burden on British diplomats operating in Russia.
However, it’s worth noting that the British ambassador and some senior diplomats will be exempt from this new procedure.
