Manchester United fans believe Paul Pogba is more than happy at the club and could decide to sign a new contract after Nemanja Matic posted a video of the Frenchman pretending to be a taxi driver at their Carrington training complex.
Pogba revealed his desire to leave the club last summer in search of a new challenge but despite links to both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, a transfer failed to materialise.
The midfielder has missed the majority of the season through injury but returned to the play an important role in United’s run in – starting six of United’s eight fixtures since the return of the Premier League.
His long-term future at the club remains unclear with his contract set to expire next year, though United retain the option to extend it for a further season.
Various reports claim Pogba’s stance on staying at United has changed and he is open to penning a new contract at Old Trafford.
On Friday, Matic posted a video to his Instagram page showing Pogba driving a golf cart and acting as a taxi driver.
United fans believe the atmosphere among the squad is at an all-time high and believe Pogba is happier than he’s ever been.
After the win against Aston Villa, Pogba was asked whether his future lies with United.
The midfielder said all of his focus was on helping the club to success in the FA Cup and Europa League.
“Right now, I’ve been injured for a very long time, I focused on myself to get back and help the team as much as I can. We have two goals, to go for the Europa League and FA Cup, we focus on that,” he told Sky Sports.
