The United Nations agency specifically manages some 700 schools where 550,000 girls and boys are educated, as well as health care establishments for Palestinian refugees.
In total, it provides aid to more than five million Palestinian refugees registered with it in the Palestinian Territories, Jordan and Lebanon.
