Tebboune announces $100 million financial contribution to Palestine

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Monday announced a $100 million financial contribution from Algeria to the Palestinian state.

“For loyalty to the glorious revolutionary history of Algeria and the irrevocable commitment of all Algerians under all circumstances, and implementing the relevant resolutions of the Arab League, the Algerian State has decided to grant it. Our brother, His Excellency Abu Mazen, Checks with financial contributions from Algeria in the order of one hundred (100) million dollars to the President of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian Liberation Organization”Tebboune said during a lively joint press conference with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas.

Palestinian president is Visiting Algeria from 5th December, received with the honor of a great head of state. An official visit that comes at a time when Algeria condemns the recent normalization of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel, while pointing fingers at the recently signed arms sales agreements between the Hebrew state and the kingdom.
