Paramount Global debuted the blue carpet and hosted a star-studded event in London to celebrate the debut of Paramount+ in the UK and Ireland.

The SVOD service offers over 8,000 hours of content, including movies and TV series, new originals and iconic shows.

Paramount+ is a mountain of fun for the whole family , Tom Ryan, head of Paramount’s streaming division, said during the presentation of the program. Tom Ryan said: We’re the only service where you’ll see Sylvester Stallone, SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Trek and South Park all in one place, and that’s what Paramount+ treats as a streaming service. ,

In the UK, Paramount+ is available on a wide range of connected devices (Apple, Amazon, Google, Roku, Samsung, etc…). Users will be able to sign up for the service for €6.99 per month or €69.90 per year in the UK and €7.99 per month or €79.90 per year in Ireland after a seven-day free trial.

Paramount+ will also launch on the Sky platform in the UK and Ireland as part of a new multi-year distribution deal that includes expanding distribution of Paramount’s portfolio of pay-TV channels. Sky Cinema customers will be able to access Paramount+ at no additional cost through a standalone app on Sky Glass and Sky Q.

Paramount+ launched in the UK and Ireland after landing in South Korea on June 16, and will continue to expand to Italy and Germany, Switzerland, Austria (GSA) in September. and in France in December45 Marketplace launches are expected by the end of the year.
