Active case

The active cases are slightly lower than Saturday’s balance sheet. There were 1,137 active cases in the region on Sunday, according to data from the Outsourced Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSSO). Outoise had 281.1 active cases per 100,000 residents on Sunday, the third highest rate in Quebec.

CISSSO data recorded 794 cases in Gatineau, 135 in Papineau, 79 in Collines-de-l’Outaouais, 59 in Pontiac and 49 in Vallée-de-la-Gatineau.

Of the active cases identified in the outlaws, 22 of 163 inmates at the Hull detention center are still battling the virus. Five employees are also infected.

In addition, 6 residents of the CHSLD Vigi de l’Outaouais are still positive for COVID-19, which represents a 50% decline compared to Saturday’s assessment. Five residents of Cannes residence and 1 resident of La Belle residence Chapak residence have also signed COVID-19.
