A ‘courageous’ policeman was stabbed with a knife after being called to a disturbance in north London last night.
The Met Police officer was described as “extremely lucky” after escaping the incident in Harefield, Greater London, without serious injury.
Officers were called to the home on Dovedale Close at 2.44am on Sunday following reports of a “disturbance”.
Upon arrival, they were confronted by a man who threatened them with a knife before stabbing the policeman in the arm.
The officer has now been treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The attacker was subdued with a Taser and arrested on suspicion of GBH and affray.
