Apple’s Connected Home manager leaves the company

Sam Jadallah resigned from Apple two years ago after joining the company. He was in charge of Connected Home, the iPhone maker and therefore HomeKit.

“It’s over with Apple”, Sam Jadallah wrote on his LinkedIn page. “I am deeply grateful for the friendships that will last and for the opportunity to shape and create new possibilities for people and homes around the world. As a leader, investor and entrepreneur, to be an entrepreneur within Apple and It was a pleasure to mass produce the product”, she added. He doesn’t say that he resigned or was kindly pushed out. He doesn’t even say what his next adventure will be.

Apple hired Sam Jadallah in 2019 and his recruitment was discussed as he came from Microsoft to improve Apple’s work on HomeKit-enabled devices. In the two years after hiring Sam Jadallah, Apple launched several new HomeKit initiatives. In addition to expanding the Wallet app’s functionality, Apple also added support for Threads, worked on implementing Matter, and introduced new HomeKit features such as “HomeKit Secure Video.”

At present there is no information about his successor in Apple.
