Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly seen an offer for Swansea City defender Stephen Kingsley rejected.
The 22 year-old has failed to nail down a regular spot since joining from Falkirk in 2014, and has had limited opportunities at SA1, making just 17 appearances.
Since his move to the Swans, he has had two separate loan spells with football league clubs Crewe Alexandra and Yeovil Town - making 24 appearances between the two clubs.
And according to a report from The Telegraph, the Swans have rebuffed a bid from Wolves for the defender.
With the options Paul Clement has at his disposal defensively, it looks set to be another season where Stephen Kingsley is down the pecking order - and a loan move for the defender could be the best option for the former Falkirk man.
Kingsley endured three successful years at Falkirk before making a move to SA1. He featured on 88 occasions for the Scottish outfit, scoring once - he’s also made six under-21 international caps for Scotland as well as making one senior appearance.
With Nuno Espirito Santo keen to add to his ranks ahead of the new Championship season, he has identified Kingsley as a defensive target for his side, although it has not yet been determined what the terms were for the Swans to reject the bid from the West Midlands outfit.
