Warhammer Skull: Festival Returns in June! , Xbox one

The Warhammer franchise is hosting the sixth edition of an online festival dedicated to its video games. The event has just been unveiled and promises a lot of surprises, especially regarding Xbox exclusivity Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, which is expected directly on Xbox Game Pass next September.

Festival from June 1 to June 8

The Warhammer license has fans from all walks of life and is popular in both board games and video games. For the sixth year in a row, Warhammer Skull Festival returns and delivers an engaging program, dedicated to licensing and upcoming projects on PC and consoles. Xbox Twitch and YouTube channels will also have rights to a special showcase, hosted by Clive Standen, the voice of Titus in the next Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

With gameplay announced last December, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has been quiet since, while expectations for a sequel, nearly 10 years after the initial episode’s release, were unexpected. That’s why we have been promised disclosures related to this project which is still very little kept by the developers of Saber Interactive. The same would be the case for another title in the license.

Expected next September for direct release in the Xbox Game Pass catalogue, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be a cooperative FPS for the Xbox ecosystem. Again, we are promised a world premiere and revelations about a title whose release is very near. Beyond the upcoming innovations, we should expect other surprises as well.

At this point, fans of the Warhammer license can be rest assured: previously available titles won’t be forgotten as content for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 or Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector on PC will be presented. Lastly, Xbox Wire specifies that Free Play Days will be in the colors of Warhammer Skulls as Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, Warhammer: Chaosbane and Warhammer: Varmintide 2 will be playable for free over the weekend and will come with a special discount from Microsoft. gather.
