LONDON, April 25, 2022 –SPIE UK, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the fields of energy and communications, a subsidiary of SPIE, has been selected by NHS National Services Scotland to provide planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical installations across 9 properties in the national . Services Scotland (NSS) in Glasgow, Scotland.

Under this five-year contract, SPIE UK will be responsible for the management of mechanical and electrical installations and will carry out planned and reactive maintenance. Sustainability is at the forefront of the project, which involves working with the NHS Energy team to develop and promote energy savings and technology improvements during the term of the contract.

The facilities within the periphery are the essential infrastructure for the operation of NHS services across Scotland, including the NHS 24 call center and national distribution centers that distribute essential equipment to hospitals across Scotland. To add further value, SPIE UK will provide energy management services to the NHS NSS. Teams from SPIE UK will offer the creation of an energy survey, setting up an energy management platform, behavior analysis and life cycle analysis.
