Radukanu, whose last appearance in Britain was at Wimbledon, would then go into action in London to end her illustrious year, which saw her become the first qualifier to win a major tournament.

When is Emma Radukanu’s next game?

She will take on Romania’s world number 83 Elena-Gabriela Russe in an exhibition competition at the Champions Tennis event later this month.

The match takes place at the Royal Albert Hall and Radukanu will be in action on Sunday 28 November with the doors opening at 12 noon.

She will play in the UK for the first time since Virginia Wade in 1977, becoming the first British woman to win a Grand Slam singles title.

Radukanu previously played the WTA No. 83 Dodge in a training session at the Transylvanian Open, but this would be the first real match between the two.

This year’s Champions Tennis event features Radukanu in his first game as Torben Beltz will be his new coach.

Beginning Thursday, November 25, the four-day tournament will have daily afternoon and evening sessions, with three scheduled matches per season; Two competitive singles matches and one doubles match.

Tickets are available from £20 per person and are on sale now through the ATP Champions Tennis website here.

Radukanu will appear on the final day of the weekend, then return to competition in January for the 2022 Australian Open.
