Investment company Greenpoint Capital has a major affiliate for the fund, which is intended to finance companies in southern Africa.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a private sector subsidiary of the World Bank, plans to inject up to 20% of South Africa’s $ 100 million needs.
Being the first investor of the International Finance Corporation, the success of its project is guaranteed for Greenpoint Capital to raise $ 100 million to support businesses in Southern Africa. At the moment, both partners are in an open discussion phase. But, in all likelihood, the IFC expects the investment firm to contribute about 20 of the $ 100 million.
At the moment, Greenpoint Capital is focusing on South Africa and operating between 50 and 150 million dollars, suggesting that it could be brought in to raise more funds. Therefore, other investors will be needed to achieve the ambitious target.
The South African company, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, owes it to some fifty transactions that have built its reputation.
