These cruise lines start in the UK

To give you another overview of the shipping company that has planned a new start in the UK, we will at this point once list all ships and shipping companies that have already announced that they will be operating domestic cruises.

P&O Cruise was the first company to occasionally show interest, as described above, trips were already on sale with Viking Ocean Cruise, MSC Cruise, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Princess Cruise and Cunard Line have announced their UK cruise.

P&O Cruises

The British subsidiary of Carnival Corporation will launch two cruise ships in Great Britain. The first ship to resume service will be P&O Britannia. It will pick up the pace for the first time on June 27, 2021 with vaccinated guests. At this point you will cross through / Southampton.

Six weeks later, P&O Iona will finally go on its maiden voyage. He is the newest and most modern ship in the fleet, the first P&O cruise ship to sail on LNG. P & O Iona was built at the Mayer Shipyard in Papenburg. It has to cross to / from Southampton from 7 August 2021, only vaccinated passengers are allowed here as well.

Conlard line

They say that the Qinard line is known for the softest carpet on the highest seas. Conard has already suggested that one would like to take cruises with Queen Elizabeth / to Southampton for the locals, but many details are not yet known at this point, and it is also not yet clear what disqualified people should be in. Travels are permitted to participate or not. There is still a beginning date.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

In fred. Olsen Cruise Lines plans to use two new cruise ships MS Bollett and MS Borealis in Great Britain. Both ships were purchased by the Holland America Line during the epidemic. Ms Borealis will start, it will be used for / from Liverpool from July 5, 2021, with Ms Bolet added on August 16, 2021.

The shipping company is still investigating whether only vaccinated guests are allowed to attend at this point.

MSC Cruises

Nothing is actually known about the restart of MSC Cruises yet. The MSC merely stated that they wanted to start in Southampton on May 20, 2021, a ship not yet named.

On MSC cruises, vaccinations will not be a condition for participating in cruises. This may give MSC a small benefit for travelers who have not yet been fully vaccinated.

Viking cruises

Viking is taking advantage of a reboot in Britain for the first deployment of its new Viking Venus, which was completed only this year. In Britain, the Viking Venus would be one of the first ships to resume service. Cruise is planned here from May 22, 2021. At the moment, vaccination will probably not be a prerequisite for participating in visits. The offer includes trips from Portsmouth.

Princess cruises

Two Royal Class cruise ships of Princess Cruise will be launched in Great Britain, along with Regal Princess and Sky Princess. The princess takes some time with this, however, because the Regal Princess has to cross from / to Southampton from July 31, 2021, the Sky Princess only from August 30, 2021.

Princess Cruises will only allow vaccinated guests on these cruises.
