Eight Moroccan universities were ranked this year in this international ranking, which included establishments from 106 countries, according to the same source.
On the African scale, in the press release, Egypt has 36 universities in this ranking, followed by 9 universities in Nigeria, 8 universities in Morocco and South Africa, 6 universities in Ghana, Tunisia and Algeria. There are 5 universities in each. Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia have one university each in the 2022 rankings.
