Tesla Model 3 validated by British police

British police are conducting a full-scale test with the Tesla Model 3. The British government wants to electrify its police fleet and may set its eyes on American sedans.

The Tesla Model 3, according to the government, represents a good opportunity for the transition to electric. A Tesla spokesperson in the UK reported promising results for the test.

English Police emergency services cover an average distance of between 7 and 15 minutes. But the Tesla Model 3 has proven effective for maneuvers and deployments lasting more than four hours.

Max Touse-Hobson, sales manager for emergency services, revealed that the Model 3 can travel up to 320 km in the event of a response. This could prompt paramedics and firefighters to choose electric sedans.
