Report: Three Spurs may return from international duty soon – Spurs Web

Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Eric Dyer could return to Tottenham on Monday after Sky Sports reported that England could be forced to withdraw in their National League clash against Iceland next Wednesday.

The Republic of Ireland are set to face three Lions on Thursday before the Nations League double-header against Belgium and Iceland next week.

However, UEFA is expected to agree to Denmark’s agreement with the Icelanders in Copenhagen this Sunday.

The UK Government’s new COVID-19 protocol could thus jeopardize England’s resilience against Iceland.

No Icelandic player will be allowed to play a match at Welby if they travel to Denmark where Cornavirus has been newly attached to the country’s mink farm.

There are also question marks over whether any issues could have been played in a neutral venue as England players could have been self-defeating when they re-entered the UK after being in contact with the Icelandic team.

The report claims that it will be impossible for UEFA to schedule any fixtures in the League of Nations due to the garbage fixing list already in place, and that discussions will continue between the FA and the government.

Jos Mourinho has already confirmed that Pierre-Emil Hodgberg will only be involved in one of Denmark’s three matches during the international break due to the Covid-19 restrictions – their clash of Nations League next week (Football.London).
