Sony today posted an 11-minute video to learn about the all-new PlayStation 5 user interface.
Sony has come a long way in disclosing as much information as possible. With the touch of a button, you can cycle through integrated news pieces from your favorite games, recently captured screenshots, and how Sony is dubbing “Activities.” This is a feature we’ve been hearing about for months because they give you a good indication of what level you’re at and how many more minutes it will take to complete it. You can even check the objectives that you have achieved.
Elsewhere, the rumored in-game tips system has been published as a real thing. You can pin hints and guides to your screen to help you in a sticky situation. We then touch the Create button which is displayed in Destruction All Stars via Photo Mode. You can snap images in real-time and send them to your friends group.
Back to the home screen, the Explore tab will start with the latest news from Sony (only when launched in the US) The PlayStation Store is now fully integrated into the system. This is no longer a separate application like the PlayStation 4.
So, what do you do with this role in the PS5 UI? Are you a fan or do you like it? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
