Original story 7.03 pm: Thanks to the arrival of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X / S today marks the official start of the next console generation, and it looks like Xbox Live is fighting a strain of new console owners eager to take their shiny new hardware for a test. Drive online.
Xbox Live sign-in issues have been reported from all angles and are affecting all Xbox platforms – be it Xbox, Xbox.com, Windows Phone and Windows 10 – but this is a particularly frustrating possibility for Xbox series X / S players to log in and Previous digital purchases are trying to download to their new console.
The good news is that Microsoft is in the case and has acknowledged this through customer reports Xbox support Twitter feedUsers say it is aware of the sign-in issue, and “the right teams are looking into the matter and working to resolve it.”

The official Xbox Live status page offers another update to the issue of Microsoft’s core Xbox Live services, writing: “We’re seeing signs of recovery with this feature and hope to be back and running soon.”
