Lionel Messi will once again be FIFA’s highest-ranked player in the upcoming video game, with Barcelona and Argentina stars over Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City in recent weeks before deciding to stay with Barcelona, has been given a 933 rating by EA Sports for the latest installment of their hugely popular series.
It is 92nd behind Juventus and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo, although his club have been able to play as Pimpante Calcio due to the license.

Messi finished the 2012-20 season without any silverware, with Ronaldo winning the Serie A title with Juventus.
Bayern Munich striker Robert Leandowski, who many believe could have won this year’s Ballon d’Or, is one of four players ranked 91st.
Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne – the top Premier League player – Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar and Atletico Madrid’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak, have 91 ratings in FIFA 21.
Liverpool title-winning defender Virgil Van Dijk and his club mates Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have 90 ratings in games like PSG and French cover star Kylian Mbappe.

Lewandowski has effectively replaced Eden Hazard in the FIFA 20 rankings, trailing the picking order after a tough first season with Real Madrid.

The game is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows on October 9th.
