In Cte-d’Or, the incidence rate released by Public Health France this Sunday is 45 positive cases per 100,000. It is therefore approaching the alert limit, which is set at 50 positive cases per 100,000 residents and which serves as a standard measure for the mandatory wearing of masks at school. In the metropolis of Dijon, the incidence rate is slightly higher: 46.4 per 100,000.

Finally, in the entire Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, the incidence rate exceeds the alert limit, as it is now 57.3 per 100,000. These are mainly the departments of Franche-Comté and Sane-et-Loire, which exceed the limits set by the government.

But the number of patients has stalled

At the same time, the situation in hospitals is not alarming. The number of patients is currently stable: 38 people are hospitalized in Cte-d’Or, including 5 in critical care. In this region, 163 patients have been identified, including 25 in intensive care or critical care.

13 people died in hospital environment since early September

Since October 25, no Cte-d’Orien has died of Covid-19, according to Public Health France, which collects data from hospitals across the country. Be forewarned, however, that figures may be postponed, especially on weekends when the numbers in hospitals are low.

Since September 1, 13 people have died of coronavirus in the hospital in Cote-d’Or. Since the start of the pandemic, there are 962. In the region, 4,972 people have died in hospital, including one since yesterday.
