‘It’s good to have people again’: Celebrities praise Biden’s statement where he declared victory

Celebrities took to social media on Friday night to praise Jay Joe Biden’s persuasive speech to the nation as the growing number of states under Donald Trump’s leadership continues to grow.

Biden made a brief appearance inside the Wilmington Cheese Center in Delaware late Friday night and spoke for seven minutes running with his partner, Kamala Harris.

It was expected to be a winning speech, but more than two hours after election night, the race for the presidency has yet to be called because ballots in the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina are still being counted.

Biden is ahead with 253 of the 270 electoral college votes needed to claim the White House and is ahead in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Georgia and Arizona where counting continues Saturday.

Pennsylvania alone would get him to vote for 2,273 electoral colleges, and he could hit 2,270 if Arizona and Nevada declare before Keystone State.

If Biden accepts four – which is very likely to be the case, he will have 302 electoral college votes.
