‘It was not my decision to leave the region’

The Seattle Police Department said on Thursday that it is “not my decision” to leave an area in a city area now taken over by protesters, and detonated them for handing over city officials to the demonstrators.

In a video address Chef Carmen Best, published on the episode’s YouTube page, said the city “gave up serious public pressure”.

“You fought for days to protect [the precinct]. I asked you to stand on that line. Day after day, dealing with bullets, screaming, threatening and, in some cases, being hurt, ”he said.

“Then making a change in about two weeks seems like an insult to you and our community.”

“Ultimately, the city had other plans for the building and remained under public pressure,” he added. “I’m angry about how these came about.”

His comments came a day after he said the episode would try to reopen the Eastern Region.

The area around the area had become a clash between protesters and police for the past two weeks during demonstrations on the death of black Minneapolis man George Floyd, whose police-related death led to a global movement against racial injustice.

Officers used tear gas, tear gas, and flash bursts to disperse the demonstrators they said were attacking bullets during the weekend.

The building was closed on Monday, with increasing demands from the protesters.

Since then they have occupied a six-block environment called “CHAZ”, an abbreviation of “Capitol Hill Autonomous Region” around the abandoned region.

The situation caught the attention of President Trump, who asked local authorities to take steps to take the streets back on Thursday.
