A new study published in scientific journal Science It is discovered that water was brought to planet Earth by meteorites that contained liquid and fell to the ground in the last thousands of years.

This means that, for scientists, water on Earth did not appear at the same time as the planet, but has been brought up over the years.

To arrive at this conclusion, scientists at the University of Sydney, Australia analyzed nine meteorites originating from asteroids that existed 4.5 billion years ago and fell on the planet in the last century.
