iPhone SE with 5G on the way for March 2022?

The rumors follow and remain the same: A minor update to the iPhone SE would be well in the pipe for early next year, today analysts at Trendforce claim. They add a clarification: This will be from the first quarter, possibly around March on the occasion of the year’s first announcements.

In any case, many rumors expect it to launch early next spring. The program will be minimal, with the addition of a 5G modem and integration of the Apple A14 chip (instead of the Apple A13 chip today), without the slightest change in design: it will be a simple update “routine” completed to improve stability.

As for the other models, the release of the iPhone 14 range will logically take place in early September 2022, a year after the launch of the iPhone 13. Note that Apple should be shaking up the organization of its range. : There will be no iPhone 14 Mini, the smaller format didn’t prove to be very popular. Thus with two 6.1″ models (iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro) and two 6.7″ models (iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max) there will be only two different diagonals.
