The Three Kingdoms Gateway Offering is a 40-day event that runs from February 17, 2022 to March 30, 2022. It takes place in the Enkanomiya, a hidden area beneath Watsumi Island.

A section of the final part of the Aphotic Diffuse questline, Three Kingdoms Gateway Offering: Aftermath, involves the use of three mechanisms to direct light while navigating the Illusory stairs. Here’s how to solve the puzzles.

Night Temple (East)

Follow the quest mark east of the Three Kingdoms offering Gateway, where the Temple of Evernite would normally be. Next, apply the Animo to the Animo Monument in front of the statue so that the air flows and ride it to reach a floating platform in the sky.

Wait for a moving platform to connect to the platform you’re standing on, step on it, and wait for it to lead you upwards. Climb the makeshift stairs until you land on a platform that may call for an illusionary staircase.

The shiny part of the platform indicates where the deceptive staircase is. If you want to take it in a different direction, just activate the Bocuso box. Each platform can only switch between two directions. Keep in mind that you should not activate the Bocuso box in the middle of climbing stairs, as this will cause the stairs to disappear, causing your foot to slip.

Once you step onto the platform, climb the illusionary ladder to loot the Mango chest. Then return to the platform and use the Bocuso box to change the direction of the stairs. Climb up to reach the second platform with the Enkanomiya Phase Gate. Let it lead you up another confusing ladder.

Go upstairs to loot another Mango chest. Then, go back down and use the Bocuso box to move the ladder, which will lead you to the mechanism that guides the light. Use the Bokuso box next to it to complete this part of the quest.

Strait (West)

Follow the quest sign to the west of the Three Kingdoms Gateway offering, where The Narrows would normally be. Wait for him to approach you before stepping onto a running platform, then let him guide you. Follow the path created by deceptive platforms, then wait for another platform to approach you. Step onto the new platform and let it lift you up again.

It will be connected to a platform with a deceptive staircase. Use the Bokuso box to change your direction, then climb up to loot a normal chest. Go back down and use the Bokuso box to return to the original direction. Climb the stairs to reach the Enkanomiya Phase Gate.

Let the phase gate lead you to a platform that has a lighting guide. Use the Bokuso box next to it to complete this part of the quest.

Heart of the Serpent (South)

Follow the quest marker to the location of Enkanomiya’s Stage Gate to the west of the Three Realms Offering Gateway, which would normally be the Serpent’s Heart. Phase Gate will take you to a platform. From there, wait for the mobile illusionary platform to arrive, climb onto it, then let it lead you on.

Do this several times until you reach a platform with a confusing ladder. Use the Bokuso box to change your direction, allowing you to climb up and loot a Mango chest. Go back down and use the Bocuso box again to return the stairs to their original position.

Once you reach the top of the stairs, wait for a confusing platform to pick you up. This will connect you to another platform with a confusing ladder. Follow the same pattern as before: use the Bocuso Box, go up and smash the chest, go back down, use the Bocuso Box again, then go to your destination.

This time you’ll find an Enkanomiya Phase Gate that will lead you to the mechanism that guides the light. Use the Bokuso box next to it to complete this part of the quest.
