Real Madrid and Wales international Gareth Bale has said that he’d take his team mates to his bar should they win the Champions League.
Bale’s ‘Elevens Bar and Grill’ would be the ideal place to celebrate when speaking to Nissan Europe before the Champions League final on Saturday.
The bar which opened last month and has had positive reviews since its opening would be the place for himself and his team mates to celebrate.
“I know where I’d want to celebrate. Take the team back to Elevens Bar & Grill and have a few beers.”
Bale who was born and bred in Cardiff before making the move to Southampton spoke of what his city has to offer, speaking of the cities best places to go. He also spoke of the mural of him which is located near his High School.
‘It’s a bit strange obviously. Growing up in Cardiff and just being a normal Cardiff boy… then seeing massive drawings on walls in the street of you.
‘Cardiff Castle it’s an amazing thing in the middle of the city and I think maybe down in Cardiff bay, there’s a nice Nandos down there.
Since Bale’s record-breaking move to Real Madrid, he has won a range of trophies in Spain, winning the Champions League twice, as well as the most recently won La Liga title.
A win for Real Madrid on Saturday would emulate the success Cristiano Ronaldo had back in 2014 when Madrid won the Champions League in Lisbon.
