Hezbollah drone flew over Israel for 40 minutes

A Hezbollah drone managed to penetrate 70 kilometers inside Israel’s northern regions for 40 minutes before returning to Lebanon, despite activation of the Iron Dome anti-aircraft defense system and aircraft Israeli fighters.

Earlier, however, Israeli officials announced that they had shot down a fake drone, which today appears to be false news.

“On this day, the Islamic resistance launched a “Hasan” drone inside the occupied Palestinian territories and hovered over the targeted area for forty minutes as part of a busy 70-kilometer reconnaissance mission north of Palestine.

Despite all the numerous and persistent attempts by the enemy to shoot it down, the drone “Hasan” returned safely to its base after successfully completing the required mission.

From the Israeli side, it has been confirmed that a drone managed to sneak into an airspace that was protected even before returning to Lebanon. Already on several occasions, Hezbollah has threatened to conduct overflight operations over Israeli territory in retaliation for the almost daily overflight of Lebanese airspace, which is a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
