Great Britain celebrates victory against Belarus

The British won Group A 4: 3 (1: 0, 2: 1, 1: 2) against Belarus. The Outsider was also 4–1 ahead. Liam Kirk (2), Ben Davis and Mike Hammond won. Goals for Belarus were marked by Vladislav Kodola, Geoff Platt and Shane Prince.

Denmark kept the game open against the Russian Olympic Committee for a long time, but the favorites won 3–0 (0–0, 1–0, 2–0). However, Ivan Morozov took the lead 42 seconds before the second break. Other hits marked Alexander Barbanov and Dmitry Voronkov. The Russians captured the points with Slovakia, however, playing even one game less. Switzerland and Denmark follow. The British are currently in fifth place.

In Group b Canada won their first tournament win against Norway in 4: 2 (2: 0, 1: 2, 1: 0). However, after Connor Brown and Adam Heinrich took a 2–0 lead, Norway initially equaled Thomas Walcave Olsen and Matt Rosselli Olsen. But Andrew Mangiapen and again Heinrich made everything clear. Germany still ranks first, but could overtake Latvia and Finland.
