The first official trailer for Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets is out. Magic clip shows.
Warner Bros. has released the first official trailer for the upcoming sequel, Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets. The clip not only shows Mads Mikkelsen (56) as the successor to Johnny Depp’s (58) role of the evil sorcerer Gellert Grindelwald. He also reveals which characters return in the third part of the “Harry Potter” offshoot.
Jude Law (48) as a young Albus Dumbledore and Eddie Redmayne (39) as Newt Scamander, Dan Fogler (45) aka Jacob Kowalski, Victoria Yates (38) aka Bunty, William Nadilam aka Joseph As Kama and Ezra Miller (29) aka Aurelius Dumbledore also celebrate his return.
For fans, however, the introduction of the young Aberforth Dumbledore, played by Richard Coyle (49), should be of particular interest. According to the trailer, Albus Dumbledore’s brother could also reveal the family secrets of the famous Hogwarts headmaster. In the video, Newt appears at a bar after Scamander enters. Asked if he saw Albus Dumbledore, Aberforth replied: “He will be my brother.”
Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald
Fans were able to get a first look at new Grindelwald actor Mads Mikkelsen in the first teaser. Law apparently turns to Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner, 31) in the new trailer and explains: “The world as we know it is disintegrating. Grindelwald is tearing it apart through hatred. If we If you want to beat him, you have to trust me.” During this, Mickelson is seen in a black suit. Tauntingly, he blasts away the memories of a man with a mighty elder’s wand.
“Fantastic Beasts 3” will premiere in April 2022
As reported by US site “Deadline”, a cinema release in the US was scheduled for April 15, 2022. In Germany and Great Britain, the film is scheduled to open in theaters on April 7 and 8, respectively. Earlier, July 15 was given as the release date.
A real attraction awaits fans of “Harry Potter” at the beginning of the new year. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first film, you can look forward to two special films with your favorite movies. Leading actors Rupert Grint (33), Emma Watson (31) and Daniel Radcliffe (32) celebrate January 1 with two specials “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” and “Harry Potter: House of Hogwarts Tournament”.
