Faith No More Cancels Tour: No Grasspop and Werchter – Muzieck

American rock group Faith No More canceled a 2022 tour through New Zealand, Australia and Europe. As a result, two Belgian concerts have also been cancelled: the band will perform at the Grasspop Metal Meeting in June and the Rock Werchter in July. In Grasspop, the group has been replaced by the Dutch symphonic metal band With Temptations.

“Due to our current challenges, we will not be ready to perform during the planned concert series in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe,” Faith No More said on social media. Not being able to perform 100 percent even after such a long time is not an option for us. We apologize to all ticket holders.”

No further details will be given about the reason for the canceled tour. But the band also canceled several concerts in September and October due to frontman Mike Patton’s mental health problems.

Faith No More was due to give a series of concerts in New Zealand and Australia in February, and would reach some twenty stages in the UK and Europe in June and July.

Grasspop was on schedule on June 17, Rock Werchter on July 2.
