Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest in Italy on Saturday evening, ahead of the United Kingdom and Spain, thanks to audience votes who voted for the group to represent the country invaded by Russian troops in late February. The Kalush Orchestra, whose song “Stefania” mixes hip-hop and traditional music, collected 631 points. The favorites of the competition, the Ukrainians are ahead of Britain’s Sam Ryder and the Spaniard Chanel with his titles “Space Man” (466 points) and “Slo Mo” (459 points).
