Neilwich City defender their first choice target is the Blues after Ben Godfrey wants to move to Everton after clearing it.
Everton are looking to expand their options in the defense system before the transfer window closes, and Carlo Anelsoti described the 22-year-old as a “really good center” tonight.
The Blues’ power brokers have discussed moves in favor of the central defender, but Angelo declined to comment further on Everton’s interest.
Greater Steinson, director and head of recruitment at football director Marcel Brand in Goodison, was there this evening to watch Everton progress to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after losing to West Ham United.
Norwich, who retired from the Premier League last season, demanded a অঞ্চ 20 million fee for Godfrey, and the player could sign a deal with the optimistic Blues Canaries.
Premier League clubs must stay until 5pm on 16 October to do business with EML parties.

Everton, however, insisted that they are currently only looking at signing players for a loan, with Fikao Tomori and Jean-Claire Todibo substituting for temporary appointments.
The possible release of Tomori by Chelsea has been complicated but the Blues are ready to make a deal for Barcelona Todibo if they take action.
The ECHO said Godfrey had made his debut as a first-choice target but there was still talk of approving the move, with several unwanted players on the squad still to be removed.
A clutch of Sandro Ramirez, Yannick Bolasi and others has been provided and after the triple signing of Alan, James Rodriguez and Abdel Docauer, the club has made it clear that they must start squad trimming.
And Everton said the new defender would be followed by the defender, but it seems that Godfrey’s perception of one of Adolotti’s players gave the club a reason to explore the possibility of signing Norwich.
Anelotti says: “We’re looking for a center-back, we’re short there.
“Godfrey is a really good center back but he plays for Norwich at the moment. I can’t say anymore.”
