The European Commission has proposed visa waivers for citizens of Qatar and Kuwait, insisting that these countries have already met the required criteria. Qatar’s ambassador to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Abdulaziz bin Ahmed, received the legal document of the European Commission’s proposal on the exemption of citizens from the State of Qatar of Schengen visas.
