Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will fly to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Monday for a two-day official visit.
The Turkish Presidency’s communications department said in a statement on Saturday that Erdogan’s visit is taking place at the invitation of his Turkish Cypriot counterpart, Ersin Tatar and will continue on July 19 and 20.
As part of the visit, Erdogan is expected to address parliamentarians from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and attend Peace and Independence Day celebrations on 20 July.
The Turkish Head of State will also hold a bilateral meeting with his Turkish Cypriot counterpart, during which he will discuss the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region as well as bilateral relations.
Erdogan and Tatar, Republic of Turkey will proceed with the opening of several important and development projects in Northern Cyprus.
