12 years ago, DreamWorks launched Dragons, an animated film that would see two sequels, Dragons 2 in 2014 and Dragons 3: The Hidden World in 2019. This trilogy allowed the studio to set up a true franchise for success, which would later be achieved in one. The animated series in a synthetic image was equally appreciated by the younger audience: Dragons: Beyond the Shores.
This production, which would run for six years for a total of 118 episodes, could have marked the final chapter of the story, but that was without relying on DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Kingdoms!
