Daisy May Cooper paid tribute to her late co-star Michael Slags during the naming of her newborn.

This country star, 34, welcomed a baby boy on September 1 but remained in hospital for a ‘traumatic few days’ after suffering complications from labor.

In a sweet Instagram post on Friday, the actress revealed that she was all right now with the announcement of her little name.

Along with the picture of the newborn, he wrote: ‘Many of you are asking what Bubba’s name is. We named him Jack Michael Weston.

‘The middle name is Michael after our dear friend Michael we lost last year let the spirit of sle slugs survive! . Wilwestonlandscape [sic]’

Michael died in July 2019 of heart failure at just 33 years old.

A few months earlier, in May, Michael had revealed that he was permanently ill after a ‘fairly rapid’ deterioration, after which he made it clear that he was suffering from heart failure.

He starred as Michael ‘Slags’ sluggit in this country of Daisy as well as BBC Three Sitcom, he played the role of Kerry McClure.

The show follows the daily exploits of Kerry and Courton, best friends in rural England.

Daisy is sharing her two-week-old son Michael with husband Will Weston. The couple also has a daughter, Pip.

Last week, the actress revealed that she had to stay in the hospital for a while because she wrote: ‘Can’t thank that little delivery bubba and that deliverySweet planet for what they’re doing for me.

‘It has been quite painful for several days and they have gone up and over’ (sic).
