According to information provided by the French Public Health Agency, 25,387 new cases and 297 deaths have been reported in France in the last 24 hours. These figures have been added to the total toll which now stands at 3,385,622 confirmed cases and 80,443 deaths including 56,772 in hospital.

27,461 people are hospitalized, 3,319 are placed in intensive care and the positivity rate remains 6.3%. 1,525 new hospital admissions and 282 new intensive care units were counted.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in France, 2,056,572 injections of the vaccine (ie 3.1% of the total population and 3.9% of the adult population) and 443,148 have been injected second (provisional data awaiting consolidation).

In the PACA region

In the PACA region, 1,750 people are hospitalized (Nt), 438 people in intensive care (-13) and 5,009 people have died in hospital since the onset of the crisis (+31).

To date, 156,983 people across the region have received their first dose of the vaccine. 19,694 received both doses.

In the Alps-Maritimes, there are 341 traditional hospitalizations (-7), 95 people in intensive care, 258 patients in SRR (+1), and 911 deaths in hospital since the onset of the epidemic (+6). The department is the second most affected in the deaths behind Bouches-du-Rhône (2,361 deaths).
