Champions, finals between Manchester City and Chelsea in Portugal: Porto wins over Lisbon

The Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea, to be held on 29 May, will be held in Porto and not in Istanbul. Uefa has decided to place two English teams in the ‘Red List’ in view of the difficulties in flying to Turkey. British government which obliges anyone to travel to Istanbul.

Wembley gave up, Lisbon benefited

Initially both clubs had put forward the hypothesis of playing at Wembley but for organizational problems (at the same time London Stadium also serves for the Championship playoffs, in addition to the fact that quarantine is also foreseen for entry into the United Kingdom) Decided to opt for Portugal, who could claim the success of last year’s final eight on their behalf.
