Cardiff City have sold out their away allocation for the trip to Burton Albion on the opening day of the season.
The buzz is well and truly back for Cardiff City supporters as excitement grows ahead of the new season.
And as Neil Warnock and his men attempt to get off on the right foot in the season’s opening clash with Burton Albion, they will be backed by a big following.
The Bluebirds have sold out their allocation more than two weeks before they travel to the Pirelli Stadium.
We’re awaiting the official figures of the sold out allocation, but it’s expected that more than 1,000 of the Bluebirds faithful will make the rather hefty 297-mile round trip to Derbyshire on August 5th.
Cardiff boss Neil Warnock will be thrilled with the level of support shown by Cardiff City fans who appear to be mightily excited ahead of the new campaign.
Fans will be hoping for a better time at the Pirelli this season following a 2-0 defeat there last term, leading to Paul Trollope’s sacking.
The stadium holds just under 7,000 in total, and it’s thought around 1,000 Cardiff City fans will make up the attendance on the opening day.
The Bluebirds’ first league home game comes the week after the Burton clash against Aston Villa, and a big crowd is also expected for that one with around 5,000 tickets made available for visiting fans.
