Update from 12/30/2021, 9:20 am.: Nothing happened on Amazon yesterday. The sales at the dealer were much lower than expected. It is now expected that there will be a second wave of replenishment sometime before the end of the year. To this day it has remained calm. We are monitoring the situation for you.

Update from December 29, 2021 at 9.45 am: The expected console replenishment on Amazon hasn’t happened yet. But you still have a chance for a PlayStation 5 from Sony. You can now buy the PS5 from Euronics – but only if you’re in a hurry. The number of consoles available at the retailer is usually not that high. So far, only consoles with drives at the digital counter have been used.

Update from December 29, 2021, 8:30 am.: That’s what finally happened yesterday and Amazon resold the PS5 two months later. However, the decline was much lower than expected. Some fans have received messages from Amazon that there are over 5,000 PS5s sold right now. This is a far cry from the originally announced 20,000 consoles. So is there another wave?

Today is Wednesday and so is the most popular day for a drop on Amazon. However, the Prime message that last appeared before each drop had not been released to date. But the fact remains that Amazon stays hot and you must keep an eye on the retailer today between 9:00am and 11:00am.

Update 12/28/2021, 9:31 am.: There are no more consoles to buy on Amazon yet. Only the disc version was sold. There may be another fall soon. We will let you know as soon as possible.

Without this service, you almost certainly won’t have a chance at consoles. Otherwise, above all, you have to be quick. Then you have the best chances of getting a PS5.

Update from December 27, 2021, 10:45 pm.Late evening news! The PS5 drop on Amazon will probably happen tomorrow. Some insiders confirm this: Inside as well as the classic Prime Notice, which appears every evening before a drop, reappears.

Update from December 27, 2021, 10:15 am.: Nothing happened even after 15 minutes. The source behind this news is reputable and already had the right nose for Amazon’s previous drops. So far it seems to be a failure. However, there may be a delay. So keep an eye on Amazon.

Update from December 27, 2021, 10:00 AM.: It’s 10:00 in the morning and so far there is silence on Amazon. But that doesn’t mean there are no drops after all. It may be delayed by now. We are there for you.

Update from December 27, 2021, 8:50 am.: It was cool in the Amazon before Christmas, but now it can get really hot. Some insiders report that Amazon is about to sell 20,000 PS5 consoles today. It should start at 10:00 a.m. and be exclusively for Prime members. Keep in mind that this is not confirmed information, but insiders are considered quite serious and have already been correct with other Amazon drops in the past. So it can finally start!

Update on December 24, 2021 at 8:45 am: The PS5 didn’t actually appear on Amazon in the entire period before Christmas – at least in Germany. Amazon stores in Great Britain and France finally posted big drops again, but nothing in Germany.

Now the question goes: When will Amazon finally deliver supplies to Germany? Are there potential fall plans for the holidays? Most insiders don’t expect new supplies until after the holidays and probably not until the new year. But no one expected Amazon wouldn’t sell the supplies before Christmas. So now everything is possible.

Update from December 23, 2021, 11:20 am.: Like you, we expected a Christmas miracle on Amazon, but it seems that the long-awaited replenishment of the console is not yet complete. Normally, it doesn’t mean anything good if nothing has happened on Amazon by 11:00 AM. After all, Amazon doesn’t usually sell the PS5. So now it’s officially as good that Amazon has almost given up on the PS5 Christmas business. If everything happens at the dealer, of course we will inform you as soon as possible.

Update from December 23, 2021, 9:20 am.: Must be a Christmas miracle, maybe it will still be a party with the PS5. Amazon UK last started selling the PS5 before Christmas. But what are the chances of getting a PS5 from Amazon and above all: Will supplies arrive on time?

PS5 Buy: Amazon Becomes the Final Straw for Console Supplies

Will Amazon resell the PS5 before Christmas? We don’t know that yet. But one thing is clear: If there’s still any online retailer that will supply consoles in time for Christmas, it’s Amazon. Accordingly, players are certainly disappointed with Amazon and its policies – there was certainly no comment on the PS5’s disappearance. The console just wasn’t there anymore.

Buy PS5: Last Minute Consoles – Are There Any Other Options Than Amazon Until Christmas?

Is there any other way to get a PS5 until Christmas? If you still absolutely need a PS5 until Christmas, unfortunately chances are pretty bad. Getting a PS5 now is like a miracle. The day before Christmas, most retailers will be abandoned if they don’t offer express delivery. Of course, Amazon would have been the last option here. So if you urgently need a PS5, you have no choice but to think locally. We’d recommend taking a look at local classifieds, so close to Christmas Eve self-picking should be the best remaining option.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to accept the terrible prices if anyone really wants to sell the PS5 sometime before Christmas. As always, we also recommend using caution when buying a PS5 through commercials – there’s a lot of mess around the console. If you find something strange, it probably is and you should stay away from it. We wish you the best, maybe this will still work with the PS5 for Christmas.
