BT Sport Nitro Rallycross Showcase

Nitro Rallycross has announced its broadcast plans ahead of the inaugural series starting September 24th.

The match will be broadcast through 14 media partners in over 200 regions – not exclusively reported in the UK by BT Sport. Other notable deals include global partners DAZN and YouTube, as well as NBC Sports and Peacock in the US.

Created by motorsport icon Travis Pastrana and part of Thrill One Sports Entertainment, Nitro Rallycross will see ten teams from seven automakers competing on purpose-built tracks across the United States.

In addition to broadcast plans, Nitro Rallycross revealed that Laureate Nicol will join the previously announced commentary team of Andrew Colley and Jarrod DeAnda as a track reporter. Prior to this, she has served in similar roles at the Nitro World Games, X Games, Formula Drift, Endurocross and Global Rallycross. A renowned reporter will complete the broadcast team, with figure skating legend Todd Richards doing the same over the first weekend.

While the inaugural season of Nitro Rallycross will take place in the United States, the 2022 campaign is also scheduled for Europe and the Middle East. It will also introduce the FC1-X electric supercar for the second campaign.
