BBC and Sky increase strategic partnership

NS BBC And Sky announced that they have renewed and expanded their long-standing strategic partnership to showcase the BBC’s brands and services on TV products Sky.

The deal will ensure that original high-quality BBC content will be even more visible on the Sky platform, making it even easier for Sky customers to find programs on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds now and in the future. It also strengthens their common support between the two organizations to invest in high quality UK programming and information for the UK public with a common goal for the UK creative economy.

The deal builds on an existing partnership and the recent launch of BBC Sounds on Sky Q, as well as a recent sports broadcast rights partnership, sharing both the Women’s Super League and matches in the new cricket format.
