Adele is preparing to host Saturday Night Live by showing her American accent in a teaser video.
The singer, 32, is making her hosting debut on a US sketch show tonight and she tested an American image on a promo clip.
In the teaser, Adele is seen talking to SNL cast member Kate McKinnon and musician HR about the upcoming show.
Kate tried an English accent and Adele responded better with a perfect American twinge: “Oh God! No worries, girlfriend!”
The Grammy Award-winning singer wore a shiny satin top and black trousers that showed off her slender figure and wore a mask for the promo, which revolved around confusion about her song, not Adele.
It all started with this London-born singer: “Hi! I’m Adele, and I’m hosting a Saturday Night Live with her as a music guest this week.”
McKinnon then asks: “Wait, her or not?” Pointing at her first and then at Adele.
Adele adds: “No, her” the singer of the show points to the guest, who replies: “Oh, wait, okay?” And points to McKinnon.
The comedian then says: “Yeah, me, I’ll be playing this week.”
Announcing her presence on Instagram, the song’s actress topping chart wrote: “Bluewood Helllell I’m so excited about this !!
“For my first hosting gig and SNL of all things !!!!”
This time, he said he wouldn’t be performing any songs from her because he wanted to concentrate on hosting.
Adele added: “I always wanted it to stand alone, so that I could cut my hand and throw myself completely, but the timing was never right.
“But what if one of us closes our eyes and raises our head to the deep end and hopes that 2020 is right?”
