Wales manager Ryan Giggs has announced his second Wales squad for the upcoming friendly with Mexico this month.

Giggs was unable to call upon Liverpool duo Ben Woodburn and Daniel Ward, as well as being without Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, due to their involvement in the Champions League Final.

Midfielder Joe Allen has been ruled out through injury after being substituted early on in Stoke City’s 2-1 victory over Swansea City last Sunday.

Aston Villa defender James Chester has been excluded due to involvement in the play-off final with his club. Losing play-off finalists Joe Ledley and Tom Lawrence are included.

Cardiff City’s Cameron Coxe, Manchester City’s Matthew Smith and Tranmere Rovers’ Luke Pilling have received their first caps, after previously playing for the under 21 age group.
